Opening an account with TorFX is simple, free and comes with no obligation to trade. You can register your details online or over the phone and our dedicated team will be on standby should you need a helping hand.

Once registered, you’ll be assigned an Account Manager who can provide invaluable guidance and support, keeping you informed of market movements and the options available to you to obtain better exchange rates and manage the risk of currency movements.

About TorFX Online

TorFX Online makes it even easier to send and receive international payments from $200 to $50,000 in over 30 currencies. For transfers over $50,000, or if you’d prefer to discuss your transfer with your Account Manager, please use our telephone service.

Whether you chose to transact online or by phone, you can use TorFX Online to monitor the status of your payments, securely upload destination bank account details, view your transfer history and amend your contact information.

For enhanced security reasons, online users require a mobile number in order to activate their account. A 5 digit PIN number is sent to your mobile to enable account activation.

TorFX Online is available 24/7 and you can log on wherever you have internet access.

Once your account is open you are free to trade at any time and benefit from our excellent exchange rates and free transfers.

How do transfers work?

When you’re ready to move your money your Account Manager will confirm the current trading rate and execute trades on your instruction. For transfers below $50,000 you can also trade on TorFX Online. The process is completely transparent and no contract is booked without your explicit confirmation.

You will also be sent a Contract Note outlining the terms of your trade. Once your trade is booked you’ll be asked to pay TorFX in the sale currency and your purchased currency will be sent straight to your nominated account. You can pay us by bank transfer or debit card.

Dependent on the contract selected and the currencies involved, the converted currency is usually transferred to the recipient account within 1 to 2 working days (and often same day for EUR, GBP and USD), although if we have funds on account prior to booking your transfer the payment will be made immediately subject to normal banking cut off times.
