Nigel Fox - Vice President, Global Customer Success

During his career Nigel has held senior sales and management positions in large and medium size companies, working for Rio Tinto, Peter De Savary, the Combined Universities in Cornwall and CEO of a regional law firm. Before taking on the position of Vice President, Global Customer Success, Nigel spent two years as CEO of TorFX, seven years as the Managing Director and seven years as the Sales Director helping grow the company nearly twenty-fold.

As Vice President, Global Customer Success Nigel is responsible for the customer journey for both corporate and private clients. Working with our Revenue, Marketing and Product leaders, Nigel ensures that our Registration, Dealing and Customer Service teams are equipped to drive the right outcomes for TorFX and our customers.

When not working, Nigel indulges his passions for photography and music, as well as spending time with his family and enjoying a variety of sports activities.

Neil Cooper - Chief Financial Officer

Neil joined TorFX in June 2017 as CFO. Neil leads the Finance, HR and compliance functions, as well as providing support to the Board and business across a range of activities, including tax, insurance and banking.

Neil has worked in a range of industries including FMCG, Leisure Retail and Housebuilding, having spent 10 years in listed-company CFO roles immediately prior to joining TorFX. Neil is a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Management Accountants.

Elle Pallett – Managing Director

Meet Elle, our Managing Director, with an impressive 8 years of experience in foreign exchange and international payments. Elle has been a driving force since she joined the team in 2016, leading TorFX's strategy in Australia and New Zealand. Equipped with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Economics, Elle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role.

Elle is known for her exceptional leadership skills, fostering high-performing teams, building strong industry relationships and driving sustainable business growth, all with an absolute commitment to exceptional customer experiences for TorFX's valued customers.

In her leisure time, Elle is enjoys travelling, surfing, camping, fishing, and exploring the Eastern Coast of Australia.

Alicia Smith – Sales Manager

Alicia has a strong background in sales and operational management in the Banking and Finance industry.

She worked with Suncorp Bank before joining TorFX in 2018 as our Sales Manager and now supports our passionate, dedicated sales team, helping them deliver award-winning service.

In her spare time Alicia enjoys getting out and about on the Gold Coast, paddle boarding, camping and hiking.

Neil Lawry - Head of Marketing

Since joining TorFX in 2005 Neil has specialised in driving acquisition through digital channels (with a particular focus on PPC and Comparison websites).

Neil oversees the marketing requirements for all the TorFX branches and manages a team of web developers, search specialists, marketing executives and content writers.

Neil is based in the UK Head Office and has extensive experience in SEO, PPC, content, email and social media marketing. He also has a keen interest in boats and fishing and enjoys cycling in the stunning Cornish countryside – weather permitting! 

Tom Pearman - Head of Compliance

Before joining TorFX in 2017 Tom spent 17 years in banking, including 11 years with the Commonwealth Bank and holding positions with Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Royal Bank of Canada and Lloyds.

As Head of Compliance Tom ensures that the company functions in a legal, ethical and risk-averse manner while meeting its business and clients goals.

In his spare time Tom enjoys surfing, fishing, kayaking, boating… basically anything that gets him out on the water!

Stuart Giles – Head of Business Development – APAC

Stuart has worked in the Financial Services sector for over 20 years, spending the last 15 focused on financial lending, wealth investment and management advisory for private and corporate clients.

Stuart joined TorFX in 2019 and, as Head of Business Development APAC, is responsible for managing our partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. Stuart also leads business development activities to heighten brand awareness.

In his spare time Stuart enjoys going to the beach, travelling and spending quality time with his wife, family and dog!

Brendan Hearle – Senior Partnerships Manager

Brendan joined TorFX in 2023, having spent the previous 20 years working in the financial services sector in Australasia and Ireland.He has occupied various roles in Operations, Sales, Risk and Management in companies such as GE, Cisco Capital, Westpac, BNZ and, more recently, Findex.

As the Senior Partnerships Manager Brendan is responsible for building the TorFX business across a wide Partnership network in New Zealand.

Brendan enjoys skiing and mountain biking in his spare time in the Central Lakes region of NZ with his family.
